Kawabata Street

It is hard to feel sympathy for the recently created roads in Kyoto. They look old style at first, but they are actually money making tools. Their purpose are to accommodate many large buses and many tourists. It was different in the past. There were some worlds like this Kawabata Street where river, trees, people and cars coexisted. Fortunately, there are still some places where nature and people live friendly side by side.  Please look for such microcosms. My next visit to Kyoto will be in March next year. Goodbye!
