Spring has come / Takanogawa River
In Japan, where the seasons change rapidly, spring was a symbol of peace. Nowadays, only the superficial gaiety is praised, and the gentleness of spring is no longer mentioned. This is the age of commercialism.
If you want to experience spring in Japan from long ago, I recommend Takanogawa River.
Takanogawa is one of the upper reaches of the Kamogawa River.
So if you walk along the left bank of the Kamogawa River from around Marutamachi Bridge, you will reach the Takanogawa River.
If you feel that the distance is too long, go above ground at Demachiyanagi Station, cross the crosswalk in front of the station and you will find a path that leads down to the river.
Once you get off, you will immediately realize that you are in another world, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a Japanese spring landscape.
