Left Bank of the Kamogawa River

 

Today we will take a walk along the left bank of the Kamogawa River.

It is difficult to name the left bank and right bank of the river. If you think of a river as a person, which direction does the river face? The river is facing downstream, so his right hand will be the right bank and his left hand will be the left bank. In Kyoto the left bank of the Kamogawa River is the east side of the river.

We always see many birds on the Kamogawa River. In fact, the whole of Kyoto may be a country where birds can feel safe.
